Summer Holiday in Marmaris

I have spent the last 2 weeks relaxing and exploring Marmaris, Turkey.

My cousin,T, and I stayed in a cute, all inclusive hotel called the Ideal Pearl. The staff were super friendly and the food that was on offer was to an excellent standard, with unique and freshly cooked dishes at every meal time.

Most of our time was spent at the pool or walking around the touristy shops, however on a few occasions we went on some very interesting excursions! The first was a 'Jeep Safari'.
This started quite early in the morning, and it was the first time we actually made it to breakfast! (we ate oranges with beans... the fun that buffets bring!)
We saw some beautiful sights, my favorite was a place called Jesus Beach, where the sea barely got deeper than waist high.

A couple of days later, we joined an outing to the Dalyan River and Turtle beach. The soft sand of Turtle beach is a prime spot for the laying of Loggerhead Turtle eggs! It's not their season yet, but we did get a glimpse of a turtle while sailing on the River Dalyan. We also got to bathe in mud baths and see some beautiful historic sights!

The next week, we ventured into something, that frankly scared the hell out of us both!
Scuba diving!
We got piled up with the kit and delved into the deep!

Lastly we went quad biking! Being silly me, I went dressed in white.... safe to say that top is ruined! I can't believe T let me drive the quad bike the whole time, being the person without an actual driving licence. ah well, we only crashed once.

As well as all of these outings, we had a blast at a water park, went jet skiing, ate amazing food and had some well deserved spa time!

I could write in detail everything we saw and did, but it would take me a week to write! We had a blast and would thoroughly recommend the hotel!

I hope you've enjoyed reading all about our trip!
I hope to get writing again more often now that I have graduated from Uni!
