I've done a very silly thing... I've agreed to take part in Tough Mudder in 2014!
'What is Tough Mudder?' I hear you ask.
Tough Mudder is a 10-12 mile long obstacle course; designed by the special forces, it will test stamina, mental/physical strength and camaraderie. Along the way you have to submerge yourself in icy water, wade through thick mud, run through a tangle of high voltage wires and pull yourself over tall walls.
but you get rewarded with a pint when you finish!

'Why would you do such a thing to yourself?'.
It's all in the name of charity! (as well as being a pretty cool experience).
Some of my relatives and a few family friends are grouping together to raise money for the Holy Cross Hospital located in Haslemere, Surrey. Holy Cross Hospital cares for people with severe disability and long term conditions; they also care for someone who is very close to our hearts.

Now, I am a 5"5' woman, with no muscle strength and a bit too much belly. How am I going to get myself around that course?
The training starts NOW.
I will be increasing my strength and stamina over the next year, all while reducing my body weight. May even arrange a few trips to good old Wales to climb up some steep, muddy hills!
My diet will be changing to get rid of the bad stuff, and introducing the good stuff! Easier said than done when your boyfriend lives on a diet of Dominos pizza, curries and burgers! temptations everywhere... but I've been good so far today! This was my after work snack:
|wheat biscuits and bananananananana!|
